and every moment was so precious

I've been spending the whole day in front of the computer today and I HATE it.
my schedule: wake up at 9, eat breakfast, use computer, eat lunch, use computer, afernoon nap, use computer..

Though technology really has made everything more convenient and I can't fault its existence, it's the reason why I've become a sloth. And I don't see how all this msn, fb and email is making any of us truly happier. I wish I could talk to my friends more often in person and that's all I need.

Other than stupid annoying buzz at the back of my brain called pessimism, this week's been great! and the highlight is coldplay! Words really really really cannot describe how wonderful it felt watching them live, so I'll let the pictures from my lousy 5 megapixel camera phone do the talking..(not that I'm ungrateful - I still remember the days I wanted a camera phone clearly, but this baby has nothing on the 10 megapixels and above out there)

Right, I bet the pictures weren't very good conversationists. Anyway, here's the setlist I stole from an unsuspecting blogger:

1) Life In Technicolor
2) Violet Hill
3) Clocks
4) In My Place
5) Yellow
6) Glass of Water
7) Cemeteries of London
8) 42
9) Fix You
10)Strawberry Swing
11)God Put A Smile Upon My Face
12)Talk
13)The Hardest Part
14)Viva La Vida
15)Lost!
16)Speed of Sound
17)Death Will Never Conquer
18)I'm a Believer - The Monkees
19)Politik
20)Lovers in Japan
21)Death and All His Friends
22)The Scientist
23)Life In Technicolour II

The concert was just purely magical and if you're a coldplay fan, and you missed it, then better luck next time!(navene don't give up half-way!). They had red lasers during "Clocks", just like in their music video, and there was this time they dragged all their musical paraphernalia to a spot in the crowd at our side, to sing no. 16, 17 & 18, and Ash and I couldn't decide if we should move nearer or not, because we were worried about our bags. HAHA.

And Ash thinks the guitarist, guy berryman, looks like the Maroon 5 lead singer and I agree. Oh yup, not to forget that the drummer, Will Champion, sang no.17 and I think it's a creepy song with a happy tune. Ooh they did some techno version of "God put a smile upon your face" and at the start, everyone was like "HUH what song is this?" but then when they started singing, everyone started cheering.

I'm sad they didn't play "don't panic" and "trouble" because I love those 2 songs so much.. but given the fact that they sound the same or even much better(with all their improvisations)in real-life, I'll listen to it through my cheap earphones and close my eyes and pretend I'm in the indoor stadium.

I must also add that the lighting and the effects were really nice! Nothing over-the-top, no flying foxing from one end of the stadium to the middle of the stage (haha), but the whole stadium was PINK during "Strawberry swing" and of course, YELLOW during "Yellow". And there were huge yellow balloons filled with yellow confetti, which chris martin(omg I just realised I didn't talk about him yet, how did that happen?!) occasionally punctured with one end of his guitar and all the confetti just sprayed out.

Sadly, I have no memorabilia to remind me of this amazing night, except the concert ticket stub. I was hoping to get a shiny butterfly confetti like the one below, having heard about it earlier, but the lucky 248 buckies got SHOWERED in them instead.

Ash and I loved it :) and I wrote this down for memory's sake! totally going again the next time they come.
